Field notes on pizza

What makes a pizza place kid-friendly?
Fast pies, casual seating, tolerance for noise, paper plates beat porcelain when there are crayons involved. Slice shops are usually the simplest call with kids under 6; sit-down places work for a real lunch when older kids can sit still.

Can the planner pair pizza with an activity?
Yes, pizza pairs cleanly with almost any activity because the kids will eat it. Tell the planner the activity (museum, park, climbing gym) and it picks pizza within walking distance.

Chain vs independent?
Say 'no chains' if you want only independents. The planner respects it. Some chains do good kid days though (decent slices, fast service, predictable bathrooms), when you have a 4-year-old hitting the wall, predictability has a real value.
